Established in East Lansing—A Story That Started Small

In 1977, Pinball Pete's began in a family garage in East Lansing, driven by a passion for arcade games and community connection. That humble start grew into something much bigger, and along the way, we picked up a few unforgettable stories—like the pink elephant.

When we moved into an old doughnut shop, a big gray elephant sat on the roof. After a wild night and a little creativity, that elephant turned pink, becoming an icon that people still talk about today. Ted's mom even crafted a paper mâché cowboy to ride it, though that never quite happened—but the pink elephant stayed, a symbol of our playful spirit.
